• Florida black bear (Ursus americanus floridanus)
• Florida bats (Chiroptera)
• Florida snakes (venomous and non-venomous)

• Coyote Outreach Education Programs - Sensing Nature conducts coyote education programs focusing on successful wildlife and urban interface techniques and protocols that foster coyote awareness focusing on human-wildlife co-existence. Sensing Nature would conduct their Florida Coyotes – Safely Co-existing with a Predator© program or comparable program specific to your organization’s needs (e.g., county extension offices, city/county governmental organizations, environmental organizations, or homeowner associations). Sensing Nature has successfully conducted these types of programs for county extension offices, local, regional, and statewide audiences. The purpose of the wildlife education programs is to increase the participants’ knowledge about coyotes, deliver proven co-existence strategies, and to facilitate the distribution of scientifically-based information. Coyote education programs would consist of a Sensing Nature delivered program with question-and-answer opportunities. Sensing Nature would also distribute select informational brochures/handouts and other scientifically-based literature as applicable.
• Coyote Train-the-Trainer Programs - Coyote training programs would instruct participants to serve as liaisons for their organization promoting community coyote awareness (i.e., a “train-the-trainer” style program). The purpose of the training programs is to empower communities through a grassroots educational effort via the dispersal of scientifically-based information. The training program format would include interactive discussions and activities to portray real-life wildlife interface scenarios. Sensing Nature would distribute training materials for coyote training programs (applicable technical reports, studies, or publications) in an electronic format to all training participants. Sensing Nature would offer these training programs for organizations such as, but not limited to, non-for-profit organizations, teachers (e.g., statewide Nature’s Classrooms), homeowner association members, various volunteer environmental organizations, or scout groups.
